Photos hold more than images—they hold stories. This workshop focuses on using family photographs as storytelling anchors. Anna Lehrke will guide you through techniques to move beyond description and into narrative, memory, and emotional detail. You’ll write short pieces inspired by images from your own family archive while learning tools you can reuse at home.
Artist Connie will be on hand to share approachable illustration techniques, helping you pair visual elements with your written stories. Participants will receive a journal to begin capturing their work.
This workshop is part of a six-class series held on Second Saturdays, January–June. Each class is designed to stand on its own or be taken as part of the full series.
